Message Title: Do you want to be healed?

Scripture: John 5:2-9 NRSV

Bottom Line: Allow healing. Come to Jesus and He will comfort you.

Overview:

  • Our infirmary self holds us back from the very healing we seek. We find ourselves unworthy of healing, while Jesus is calling us to the water for healing.

  • The sources of our healing was given in Jerusalem - just as it was promised long ago. Our heavenly parent stretched out HIs healing arms to embrace us, and heal us. He heals our brokeness, our pain, and the scars that are left on our soul.

  • In order to be healed, we must open ourselves up to God's embrace of grace. He gives it to us freely. Just come to Him and He will comfort you.

  • Your soul can be healed. You don't have to be fast. You just have to be willing. Your heavenly Father will be there for you. That's God's promise.
