Overview:
What’s this message about?
Jesus commissions his disciples to baptize and make disciples of all nations- disciples follow a leader; they don’t wait around for the end.
1 Corinthians15:58 - after all the talk about resurrection bodies and imperishability, Paul doesn’t end with “so sit around and wait for the good stuff to start.” He exhorts them to be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the lord because you know the work of the lord is not in vain.
Discussion Questions:
How does the resurrection of Jesus give us hope for today and for all eternity?
How can your Group keep each other hopeful as followers of Jesus?
What impact should the resurrection have on our life?
What kind of life should we live if death is not the end?
Our lives, here and now, have eternal significance. We can’t just sit on the sidelines any longer. What can you do this week and in the coming months to help bring the hope of the gospel to those around you? What impact can you make in your family? Your neighborhood? At work?
